Provided by AGPSLOVENIA, March 26 - These contributions comply with the terms and conditions set out by the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The Government allocated a total of 1,335,000 euros to the following international organisations, of which 1,280,000 euros for humanitarian aid and 55,000 euros for development assistance:
Slovenia’s voluntary contributions demonstrate its commitment to peace, stability, security, human rights, international law, gender equality, the empowerment of women and vulnerable groups, sustainable development and climate adaptation. These are the very same goals and values that our country shares with selected international organisations. By contributing to the development and humanitarian initiatives of international organisations, Slovenia increases its influence and international credibility, as well as its ability to shape policies within the international community.
